International exchange for AUT students

Lots of students at AUT get the chance to study at one of our partner institutions overseas.

Studying overseas can change your life – you’ll be immersed in another culture, meeting new people and getting international experience. You credit the points you earn while studying overseas back to your AUT degree.

Why should you go on exchange?

Here are just a few reasons you should take the opportunity to do exchange:

  • You’ll learn a lot – both academically and personally
  • You’ll return to AUT with more self-confidence and maturity
  • You’ll add value to your degree by experiencing different teaching styles and taking different courses
